Functional Medicine 

Functional Medicine is different from the popular allopathic medicine which many people are familiar. Few people would argue that when it comes to diagnostics and the treatment of acute and serious injury or illness, the benefits of our modern medical system are without equal.

Allopathic medicine have developed too big to even recognise individuality any more.  It has reached the extent that what is more important now is not what sort of person has the disease but rather what disease the person has. Doctors are now trained and 'specialised' not to treat a whole person anymore but to treat a particular disease. This approach have left many with frustrations and endless pursuits of wholeness. The reason for this is because many of the acute illness are fast fading and we are now faced with chronic diseases of Inflammation, Neuro-degeneration and Immune dys-regulation and their consequences in the vast array of our complex biological machinery (our body). Unfortunately, the available treatments for all these chronic conditions are sometimes worse than the disease itself.  This is where Functional Medicine comes in.

Dr Ogunjobi have observed the realities of the above conundrums over many years of his practice career and he has invested his time and resources to see what role he could help. He is currently working toward obtaining his Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging, Preventative, and Regenerative Medicine and the Metabolic Medical Institute.
